NYC Marathon
& the Journey There

I started running in March 2025. I could only run 30 seconds without stopping. I've finished two half marathons. And in November 2026, I'm running 26.2 miles through New York City on RESOLVE's charity team.

Unapologetic & Slow

My husband Matt, started running in 2024 and I watched him accomplish amazing things. After seeing him complete not only a half, but a full then multiple ultra marathons - I wanted a taste of that feeling too.

In April 2025, I ran my first 30 seconds without stopping. It was hard. Slowly, I made it up to running for a few minutes non-stop, then a mile then 2 miles. Then I got confidenent - I signed up for a 5K. Then a Spartan Race. Then a Half Marathon.

As of April 2026, I've completed two half marathons and I'm training for my first full: the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon. I'm sharing my journey on my social media, to show others that it's never too late to start. That they can do it too.

Running for RESOLVE

Every mile in NYC is dedicated to the 1 in 6 people facing infertility. I'm running with RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association's charity team and raising funds for education, advocacy, and support.

What I talk about

My life. My runs. Documenting the good parts, and the not so good ones. Running is a privilege, so I treat it like that. I'd a huge adovcate for any pace is a good pace.

I talk about my infertility journey openly on social media, because it's a huge part of my life and it intersects with running in a lot of ways. I've found so many people in the infertility community using social media and it's been amazing to connect with them through content. I didn't know how many people were going through infertility too until I started sharing about it.

Find me on Instagram — my content is for the runners who aren't fast yet but are out there anyway.

Advocacy

Infertility
Advocacy

I'm an advocate with RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association. I've participated in federal advocacy days and I'm committed to making infertility part of the national conversation.

Federal Advocacy Day RESOLVE advocacy

Why I advocate

1 in 6 people struggle with infertility. It's a medical condition that affects families of every kind, and it deserves recognition, funding, and federal policy support.

I've spoke to memebrs of Congress on Federal Advocacy Days with RESOLVE to make that case directly to lawmakers. I share my personal journey openly — on social media and in person — because visibility changes culture.

Running for the cause

In November 2026, I'm running the TCS New York City Marathon on RESOLVE's charity team. Every mile is a statement. Every dollar raised supports education, advocacy, and the infertility community.

I live in Watertown, NY with my husband Matt and daughter Ellie. Matt's a serious runner — watching his journey inspired me to start mine in March 2025.

By day I'm a Senior Financial Data Analyst at Paylocity, building BI infrastructure for sales ops and finishing my second master's degree, this one in Analytics at Georgia Tech. By weekend I'm out there doing run/walk intervals and building toward the NYC Marathon.

I'm also an advocate with RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association — I share my journey openly because visibility changes culture.
